DAVID M. CUTLER, ESQ.:::

Executive Producer

Dave is a JD graduate of Vanderbilt University and bar certified in three states: New York, California, and Tennessee.  He is the founder of The Get Connected Summit.

David currently works at Dolby Laboratories, Inc. as in-house IP licensing counsel. 

Prior to joining Dolby, David maintained a well respected entertainment and technology practice representing clients in all aspect of the entertainment and technology industries.  David has represented clients in the music, film, television and technology industries.  David’s clients range include entertainment venues, event production companies, Burning Man, Loveparade, The Estate of Jerry Garcia, the Dead Kennedy’s, Ruby Skye, the Bubble Lounge and Om Records.

David also has a special expertise in legal issues pertaining to large event/festival production.

Two years ago, David founded BeatSync, a successful music licensing company that licenses music for use in television, film, games and multimedia entertainment.

David writes numerous articles on the entertainment and technology industries, speaks on numerous panels regarding entertainment and technology issues and serves on numerous boards including and the San Francisco Late Night Coalition.  David currently serves as the Vice President of the San Francisco Lovefest and head of the Loveweek team.

TALIN KESHISHIAN M.P.A.:::

Executive Producer

Talin is a graduate of The Masters of Public Administration Program at California State University at Northridge. 

She is the Founder and President of a nonprofit organization known as the Allied Cultures Against Discrimination, which focuses on diversity training programs and initiatives for students in the public school systems as well as for individuals. 

Talin is also a member of American Society for Public Administration.  

When Talin is not working, she can be found jet skiing, parasailing and ATV riding.

THUC DOAN NGUYEN:::

Executive Director, Founder

Thuc, ‘Topie’, Doan Nguyen is the result of the professional training of a handful of cool people and a philanthropic family. She is here today because of non-profits that helped her family come to the US from a refugee camp after they escaped political persecution.

She worked for A&R great, Al Smith, who discovered The Melvins, at various outlets: electricartists, Russel Simmons’ pre-BET 360hiphop, and 75ark in New York City. She also learned the ropes at JetSet Records.

She helped Marjorie Ellis Thompson with Saatchi & Saatchi’s Cause Related Marketing Division on Charlotte Street in London, England.  Find Thuc in the ‘thank you’ section at the front of the book Brand Spirit by the wonderful Marjorie and the kind Hamish Pringle.  In London, Thuc also spent time working at Amnesty International’s International Secretariat in Islington.

In Los Angeles, she was under the tutelage of writers and producers Evan Charnov and Vincent Ngo.

She is currently a candidate for a Master’s degree, for Non-Profit Management, having studied Public Policy as one of her undergrad majors at UNC-Chapel Hill. She worked in arts administration for The American Dance Festival in Durham, NC during college.
Thuc is also a member of The Board of Directors for The San Fernando Valley Chapter of The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union).

Thuc has also been a freelance features writer for various magazines: Useless, Working Class, Nylon Online, BPM, and Urb.  She runs a blog about public administration here, if you need information about how to lend a hand in Los Angeles and all around.

She has been interviewed by The Washington Post (Ian Shapira) and VOX (Rose Raymond) about the GenX/GenY switchover and divide.  When Thuc is not doing grad school stuff, she is writing works of fiction, non-fiction and feature specs.  Her website is here.
